Users can ask credit-related questions and receive personalised guidance for smarter credit decisions
Pune, July 22 nd , 2026: As part of its continued commitment to promoting responsible borrowing and
informed financial decision-making, Fibe, a digital lending platform, today announced the launch of
Credit AI Radar (CAIR). The AI-powered credit intelligence and management platform aims to go beyond
the traditional credit score to help users better understand, manage and improve their credit health,
and is available on our website.
This marks another step in Fibe’s journey to make credit more transparent and accessible for everyday
Indians. Formal credit adoption is widening in India. Digital-first lenders’ consumer reach grew from
approximately 14.4 million in December 2022 to approximately 23.3 million by December 2024. As more
consumers engage with the credit system, understanding the factors that shape a credit profile and
knowing what to do about them, remains a challenge for many.
CAIR combines data from multiple credit bureaus with Fibe’s proprietary AI-intelligence system,
FibeSense™. Credit AI Radar aims to empower customers with the same intelligence by placing the
technology directly in their hands.
At the centre of the experience is Fiora, CAIR’s AI chatbot. Users can ask Fiora plain-language questions
about their score, repayments, or credit habits, such as “What is my 6-month credit trend?”, and receive
clear answers without financial jargon, along with visualised trends drawn from their own credit history.
Fiora is available in Hindi, English, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada, making credit guidance
accessible across a wide base of Indian users.
Beyond conversational guidance, CAIR offers goal-based credit improvement plans and score simulation,
allowing users to see how specific actions could affect their score before making financial decisions. It
goes beyond the static snapshot of a traditional bureau score and identifies the patterns, hidden signals,
and behavioural triggers that are actively shaping a customer’s credit position, translating them into a
clear, conversational, and actionable experience. It tells users if their credit utilisation has crept too
high, flags recent hard enquiries on their profile, and shows them exactly what to fix and in what order.
CAIR draws on data shared with explicit customer consent, consistent with Fibe’s data privacy practices.
Balakrishnan Narayanan, Chief Product & Analytics Officer, said, “Responsible borrowing begins with
awareness. While a credit score provides a snapshot of an individual’s credit profile, lenders evaluate a
much broader set of factors, including repayment behaviour, existing financial commitments, cash flow
patterns, and overall credit discipline. Through CAIR, we are leveraging AI to make credit intelligence
more accessible by helping users understand the factors shaping their credit profile, identify potential
gaps, and
take actionable steps towards improving their financial health. By moving beyond a single score and
providing personalised insights, CAIR aims to empower individuals to build stronger credit habits and
make more informed borrowing decisions.”
India’s middle-income segment, the country’s largest household cohort, is projected to grow from
approximately 173 million households in FY26 to approximately 208 million by FY31, much of this
growth is driven by Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, signalling income growth beyond metropolitan regions. As
credit adoption continues to rise, so does the need for simple tools to understand and manage credit
health. CAIR is designed to address this need. Whether someone is applying for their first loan or
managing multiple credit lines, CAIR helps them interpret their bureau data, understand the key factors
influencing their credit profile, and provides timely guidance on actions they can take to build healthier
credit habits.
